Mountain Valley Arts Council (MVAC) was first incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1970.  Since that time, numerous changes have taken place in the operation, but the mission has remained unchanged:  β€œto aid, encourage, advise, and correlate all activities dedicated to the promotion of cultural arts in Marshall County, Alabama, and neighboring communities, as may be found feasible, and to integrate such activities into the total life of the communities served by MVAC.”

Through membership dues, donations and grants, we strive to create a community replete with art.
