MVAC believes that art should be shared. To be sure that everyone has the chance to enjoy the arts in our community, we have come up with a list of frequently asked questions.

  • Yes! All of our artist receptions are free,  and you are cordially invited to attend.

  • MVAC doesn't have a dress-code, so come as the authentic you!

Does MVAC have a handicap entrance?

  • MVAC does have handicap access, which is located at the back of the gallery.

What do I get from an mvac membership?

  • Without your support MVAC would not be able to host free exhibits, receptions, or concerts.

If I am a Visual artist, can I exhibit with MVAC?

  • Mountain Valley Arts Council seeks to infuse cultural artistry into an already diversely woven tapestry of communities both through our Gallery Exhibits and our Spring & Fall Concert Series. We could not accomplish this without the tremendous amount of talented people that choose to spread their art to audiences of all shapes and sizes through our organization. If you’re interested, email us at or mail us a letter at 300 Gunter Avenue, Guntersville, AL 35976 with the following:
