ART WORKSHOPS COMING UP

A private art workshop make a great family vacation or birthday party or even a staff party right here at home. Call the MVAC Gallery at 256-571-7199 to discuss details.

Calling MVAC artists - if you are interested in facilitating an art workshop in a particular art medium, please contact the MVAC Gallery at 256-571-7199. Payment depends on how supplies are provided.

OPEN STUDIO DAY-

FIRST WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH

In 2026, MVAC will reserve the first Wednesday of each month as Open Studio Day. Bring whatever you are working on and enjoy the company of other artists. There will not be a facilitator, but you never know what you’ll learn from another artist. In April, one participant worked on a quilt, another worked on a watercolor, and another worked on promos for MVAC. One participant got new connections for area poets, info from Alabama Extension Service, discovered the Charburger, and saw MVAC exhibits in the Courthouse, too.

See you on First Wednesdays!

If you are specifically interested in watercolors, please call the MVAC Gallery and let us know what day and time works best for you. We are considering a separate art day with a facilitator.
